After king Artaxeres I death, the empire started to get week. Few years past and Darius III became king but still the empire was week. He is famous by the name of "the king that lost his empire". Greece was waiting for this moment and the prince of Greece, Alexander, planed a perfect attack and read all the secrets and passages of Takhte Jamshid. For four years, he and Darius  fought in many tough battles and at the end, the Iranian soldiers retreated and stopped fighting. In 330 BC, Alexander and his soldiers went the crown jewel of Hakhamaneshian, Takhte Jamshid. Alexander and his soldiers stole and killed lots of jewellery and people  and at last he put Takhte Jamshid on fire. Some people say that he didn't do it on purpose, he was drunk by his girl friend. This burning was one of the saddest in history. After that burning, Greece defeated Iran. In summer 330 Bc, King Darius III was killed by a close ally and that was the end of Hakhamaneshian. The empire that expanded over 3 continents and ruled over 3000 years. The Great Alexander held a great ceremony for Darius III death and married his daughter. After that he created a new empire called Seleucids.
